A full SQL workbench on a page.
Inside your app.
SQLly Embedded is the browser build of SQLly plus the SQLly Bridge in a licensed embedded mode. You define profiles - the servers, databases and labels a group of users should see - and your app hands each signed-in user a launch token. They get the editor, IntelliSense, the explorer, execution plans and the results grid. They never get a password.

Your page, your bridge, your databases
The bridge runs on a server you control. It holds the credentials, runs a private SQLly engine per browser session, and checks its license with sqlly.app. The browser only ever sees names.
Browser
Signs in to your app, gets a launch token, and runs SQLly on the page.
one engine per session
SQLly Bridge, embedded mode
Holds profiles and credentials, enforces seats and your domain, mints launch tokens for your app.
local network
Your databases
Every engine SQLly supports: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQLite, ClickHouse, Redis and more.
The bridge checks in with sqlly.app every 20 minutes. If it cannot confirm its license for 40 minutes it stops running queries and tells SQLly why; the next successful check-in resumes work without a reload.
Everything to go from download to a working page
The browser build
The same SQLly workbench, compiled to WebAssembly, without the sample databases. Serve it from any path on your site.
The bridge and engine
Start it with your license key. It serves the WebSocket your page connects to and a localhost management API your app calls.
A sample admin app
A zero-dependency Node app: define profiles for every supported server type, test each connection, create users, and launch SQLly as any of them.
A management API
Create and update profiles, mint launch tokens, see seats and license state, test a connection, and check in with sqlly.app on demand.
No connection limits
A profile holds as many servers and databases as you like. The free tier's saved-connection cap never applies in embedded mode.
Domain locking
Each license is bound to one domain. The bridge refuses any page from another origin; subdomains of yours are always welcome.
Priced by users connected at a time
A seat is a user with SQLly open. Close the tab and the seat is free for the next person. One running bridge per license.

What it is not
- Not zero-knowledge. Unlike Cloud Relay, the bridge is meant to hold the credentials - that is the point. Run it where you would run any service that can reach your databases.
- Not a hosted service. We host nothing but the license check. The page, the bridge, and the databases are all yours.
- Not single sign-on. Your app decides who a user is and asks the bridge for a launch token. The sample app shows one way; yours will have its own.
- The trial is one user and one bridge. A second browser tab under the trial is refused, so you can see exactly how seats behave before you buy.
